Job Title: Inventory Control Coordinator Location: Sandston, VA 23150 Pay Rate: $20.00 - $21.50/hr. On W2 without benefits Duration: 6+ months Shift Timing: Day Job Description: The Department is seeking a highly qualified Inventory Control Analyst to join our team to support its inventory management and product distribution through the development and maintenance of an effective inventory management program. This position will provide oversight and review the accuracy of inventory data in the warehouse management system. The incumbent will conduct cycle counts and investigate discrepancies. Other duties include compiling, maintaining, and updating inventory records of all warehouse items, including refrigerated and frozen items; investigating and reconciling inventory discrepancies; creating, maintaining, and distributing inventory reports, working closely with warehouse staff to assist with the accuracy of inventory, performs and manages daily cycle counts using various counting methods; assists with updating process documentation; assists team members with special projects. Required Qualifications: Experience in managing inventory control and cycle counting procedures. Experience with leading a wall-to-wall inventory in a warehouse setting, analyzing data, and performing moderately complex duties in compiling, updating, distributing, and assisting staff with inventory records and inventory-related questions. Knowledge of lot control; intermediate skills in Excel and Word plus experience with report writing software. Experience analyzing data and running reports; strong math, problem-solving, and communication skills; Must be able to work independently and with a variety of people gathering and exchanging information. The successful candidate must be a team player, professional, and reliable. Strong customer service skills are required. Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to automated inventory management systems, database design, and Crystal Report Writer. Experience with industrial equipment such as material handling equipment (Pallet Jacks, Forklifts). Experience working with ERP systems is preferred.
