AMD together we advance_ THE ROLE: AMD is searching for a International Tax Sr. Manager to join the Tax Department in our Global Operations & U.S. Tax Compliance Team. This role requires advanced technical expertise in U.S. Federal and International tax and the ability to take a risk-based approach to tax provision and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a proactive thinker who can navigate complex tax issues efficiently while continuously seeking process optimization. You will collaborate with local and global members of the Tax Department, including the shared services tax team in Malaysia, to support tax accounting, compliance, planning, and controversy. As the International Tax Sr. Manager, you will utilize your deep technical knowledge and experience in different tax functions to "plug and play" as a key resource to the Tax Department. The ideal candidate must be highly proficient in ASC 740 and M&A tax accounting, with demonstrated experience in tax provision, purchase accounting, and post-acquisition integration.
