Join the nVent team as a Maintenance Technician In this position, you will get to:
- Repair and maintain all production equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical machine malfunctions and operating difficulties.
- Implement repairs and adjustments on machines.
- Make emergency repairs to limit excessive downtime and production delays.
- Make periodic preventative maintenance checks and lubricate all production machinery.
- Assist in building equipment parts and experimental machines to work order specifications.
- Assist in coordinating material requisitions needed for projects.
You have:
- A High School diploma, Trade School or Military training preferred.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with experience conducting maintenance and repair tasks
- Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment highly desired
- Experience in metal fabrication, machine/equipment maintenance, and/or robotics and automation systems experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as design drawings, blueprints, safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals.
- Ability to work 2:00 - 10:00 PM Monday - Friday, and any scheduled overtime after 10:00 PM and weekends. This role may require heavy overtime scheduling.

Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance.
