Join the nVent team as a Maintenance Technician

In this position, you will get to:

• Repair and maintain all production equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical machine malfunctions and operating difficulties.
• Implement repairs and adjustments on machines.
• Make emergency repairs to limit excessive downtime and production delays.
• Make periodic preventative maintenance checks and lubricate all production machinery.
• Assist in building equipment parts and experimental machines to work order specifications.
• Assist in coordinating material requisitions needed for projects.
  

You have:

• A High School diploma, Trade School or Military training preferred.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with experience conducting maintenance and repair tasks
• Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment highly desired
• Experience in metal fabrication, machine/equipment maintenance, and/or robotics and automation systems experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as design drawings, blueprints, safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals.
• Ability to work 2:00 - 10:00 PM Monday - Friday, and any scheduled overtime after 10:00 PM and weekends. This role may require heavy overtime scheduling.

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$23.91-$33.00
