Part-time CDL Driver

(15-25 hours per week)

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Class A or B CDL Driver for our Albany team. You will safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to various locations, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

This highly motivated & safety-first individual will be responsible for operatingcommercial vehicles, conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate digital logs, and adhering to safety policies and procedures.

This position reports to OperationsManager. This role is onsite and is based in Watervliet, NY.

Responsibilities:



  • Safely operate the following vehicles:

    • Powervac (air mover) - training can be provided
    • Straight truck roll-off - training can be provided
    • 10-wheel box truck


  • Perform the following duties:

    • Spotting and delivery of roll-off containers
    • Operation of Powervac equipment
    • Occasional local pickup of non-hazardous drums for return to the yard
    • Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed


  • Work Scope & Schedule:

    • Part-time role due to current workload volume (15-25 hours per week)
    • Flexible scheduling; ideal for someone looking to stay active without full-time hours
    • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in safe operating condition
    • Maintain accurate digital logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, following all applicable DOT regulations
    • Complete all required manifest paperwork and documentation accurately
    • Properly secure load to ensure safe & compliant transportation of materials




Basic Requirements:



  • Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's license for straight trucks over 26,000 lbs. required
  • Active Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
  • Minimum three years commercial driving experience required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation
  • Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)
  • Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company's commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
  • Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship


Preferred Requirements:



  • Proficiency in driving manual transmission
  • Previous experience in environmental services or related field
