Life Sciences Manufacturing Sales Lead for West Coast of USA Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded Life Sciences Manufacturing Sales Lead to drive growth in Life Sciences Manufacturing domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capitalizing on new business opportunities, establishing business solutions, and driving revenue growth within the Life Sciences industry. The qualified candidate must reside in California, Seattle, WA, or near a major city in the West Coast region of the USA as this role will require regular travel from 25% up to 50% of the time throughout the region. Key Responsibilities * Serve as the client responsible for regional account strategy and relationship for the manufacturing Lab applications and Integration. * Responsible for creating and executing account growth plans for the client, including cross selling of new products and extension of relationship into new areas / facilities. * Ensure Business volume and margin targets are met or exceeded. * Technical know-how to sell Manufacturing and Lab transformation solutions. * Work with the Client Partner team to ensure that the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is fully updated. * Develop critical project pursuit strategies. * Accountable for the review and negotiation of customer contracts * Coordinate with the Lead Team and Global Sales colleagues regarding global customer strategy and engagement. * Working closely with operations, proactively manage account relationship, ensuring regular sponsor meetings are attended, and take ownership of meeting actions * Understand and be able to articulate the Cognizant offerings and analyze customer needs to determine requirements and describe proposed solutions. * Be able to articulate project delivery methodology and operational information systems. * Oversee the generation of technical and commercial proposals. * Ensure customer satisfaction and cognizant value is monitored and managed. * With support from Marketing will be responsible for lead generation and qualifications as needed. * Support marketing events within the country and regions as required. * Responsible for commercial negotiations with clients * Ensuring that the signed contract/order is received, checked, and filed correctly. Ensure internal systems are updated as required. * Ensuring that the project is handed over to the operations group for execution. Required Experience

Salary and Other Compensation The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 - $170,000 + Annual Target Bonus of 30%.
