The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning dishes, kitchen, food preparation equipment, utensils and other kitchen/dining equipment or tools.

Opportunity Details:

Schedule:



  • Part-Time
  • Shift: 4:00pm-7:30pm
  • Position works one weekday per pay period, every other weekend & rotating holidays.
  • Working approximately 14 hours bi-weekly.


Pay:



  • The targeted pay range for this job is $16.00 to $19.00 per hour.
  • Ecumen considers a variety of factors when determining new hire pay including experience, qualifications, and, when applicable, certifications, licenses, and education.

Essential Job Responsibilities:



  1. Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots/pans using dishwasher or by hand. Properly operates the 3-compartment sink.
  2. Maintains kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean sanitized and orderly condition. Uses proper chemicals for all cleaning tasks. Uses proper PPE for chemical use.
  3. Performs opening and closing side work including sweeping and scrubbing floors, cleaning dish storage area and surrounding areas.
  4. Reports any sanitation or janitorial issues immediately to appropriate party.
  5. Assists to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times.
  6. Empties and cleans trash receptacles and places it in designated pickup areas.
  7. Partners effectively with others in a demanding and changing environment, supports all team members within the community as directed by the leadership team.
  8. Performs other duties as assigned.


Minimum Required Qualifications:



  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written
  • Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident's Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations


Preferred Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or GED
  • Dishwashing/Commercial kitchen experience
  • Previous experience working with seniors
