As a Deal Desk Analyst, you'll strategically partner with our Sales organization and business teams in a Deal Desk Analyst capacity, offering guidance to drive deal execution. You will work collaboratively across functional and all sales teams to analyze and influence pricing and deal structures. You'll analyze deals against economic, operational, and strategic requirements as well as ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. You will work in a structured environment with ability to navigate new business requirements in a fast-paced and growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Function daily as one of the primary points of contact and as a subject matter expert for Cloud pricing requests and deal constructs across all sales teams.
  • Manage the end-to-end pricing activity of each deal. Communicate complete strategic and financial picture of each deal with Senior Leadership, as well as make pricing recommendations and strategies to achieve business and financial targets
  • Become a trusted advisor to Sales on deals and drive deal closure by being approachable and providing direct support
  • Partner with cross functional teams including Cloud Operations, Product Management, and Accounting to support custom requests (costing, pricing models, custom products, etc.) as well as ensuring all proposals follow proper approval policies
  • Constantly work to develop/improve pre-sales pricing/cost models to increase efficiency and ability to support/analyze new requests. Identify needs to for new models and tooling as business needs arise.
  • Develop and support reports/analytics for deal and operational KPIs. Design and implement reporting tools for business partners, including process and system improvements.
  • Utilize quotes and Salesforce/CPQ to ensure compliance with company pricing/discount policies. Ensure quality of data represented by CPQ tool matches models.
  • Support other Finance and FP&A initiatives. Ad-hoc projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience, preferably in Deal Desk, Sales Ops, Finance, Pricing or Operations with preference for enterprise software or SaaS businesses
  • Maintain existing documentation around the Deak Desk's internal and external processes
  • Ability to understand sophisticated pricing models and strategies. Experience building complex financial models and scenario analysis is a plus
  • Ability to understand SaaS / subscription model metrics & drivers such as ACV, TCV, renewal rates, churn, ARR, net retention a plus
  • Effective communicator with all levels of management and cross-functional organizations.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Ability to work collaboratively with international teams
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and be results-driven
  • Deep practical knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint are required. Salesforce reporting and PowerBI skills are a plus.
  • Experience with a software and/or SaaS company is a plus. Prior experience pricing/costing IaaS platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS, etc.) also a plus
  • Education Requirements: Bachelor' s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business required, Master's/MBA a plus
