We have an exciting position open in Aptar Beauty for a Director of Sales reporting to Earl Trout, Vice President of Sales, Beauty NA.The primary purpose of the Sales Director North America Beauty is to manage and oversee the sales operations within the region. This means to be responsible for developing and leading a team of Account Managers, build relationships with clients/customers, designing plans to meet sales and growth targets, and actively participating as a leader for the Beauty NA region.
This is how your journey begins:
- Building and leading a team of salespeople to help drive revenue: this role must motivate teams to generate leads, build client relationships, set targets to hit or exceed revenue forecasts, and ultimately meet customer needs.
- Developing and execute sales regional strategies that align with overall goals and objectives for the region.
- Developing and executing tactical plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Ensure Sales Force Effectiveness, full adoption of the CRM tools.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationship.
- Effectively communicating the value proposition through proposals and partnership
- Partnering with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
- Anticipating product specific landscapes and trends
- Developing and Strengthening the Opportunities Pipeline across your team including YoY growth, a strong cross-section of Customers and Products, and maintaining good data hygiene to ensure usable Pipeline insights.
- Reporting sales results and maintaining discipline in sales tools utilization.
- Work in conjunction with other functions during sales budget process.
- Be a strong leader and role model to sales team.
What you will bring on the journey
Education
- BA/BS degree required; MBA preferred
Required Skills/Abilities:
- At least 10 years of proven leadership experience.
- At least 15 years of proven sales or packaging leadership experience, meeting or exceeding targets.
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
- Proven ability to drive aprocess from plan to close.
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
Required Experience:
- Experience in working with matrix organization.
- Experience working with global companies.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Travel Requirements:
- Ability to travel frequently - domestic required (local driving and flights) and potential for international travel.
