The Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, established in 1981, is among the world's leading graduate and professional schools of nutrition. Its mission is to improve the nutritional well-being of people worldwide through the creation of new knowledge, its application and dissemination, and the education and training of future leaders in the field. Faculty, students and staff at the school include physicians and other health practitioners, biomedical and clinical scientists, nutritionists and epidemiologists, agricultural and environmental scientists, economists, psychologists and others whose work on food and nutrition contributes to the sustainable, equitable development of human societies. What You'll Do This Impact Analyst position offers an exciting and challenging opportunity to help improve food, nutrition, and agriculture policy and programming through Tufts University support for the global Agriculture, Nutrition, & Health (ANH) Academy. The ANH Academy is jointly funded by the Gates Foundation and the United Kingdom's Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office, through the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). This project convenes a global community of interdisciplinary researchers, practitioners, and policymakers working on agriculture and food systems for improved nutrition and health, with over 10,000 members in 160 countries. The Impact Analyst will collaborate with other members of the ANH Academy staff at Tufts University and LSHTM to manage expansion of current programs to deliver impact; analyse and visualize data to support monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) activities; and support research projects to meet ANH Academy program objectives. This position will be supervised by the ANH Academy Project Manager based at Tufts University. Duties will include but are not limited to: updating and developing new content for the ANH Academy Support Center for Agriculture - Nutrition Research (SCANR), ANH Research Communities and other efforts to attract new members and achieve program goals; designing and conducting data analysis and visualization activities that demonstrate program impact; coordinating research activities and planning; liaising between relevant internal and external stakeholder groups; providing technical support and data analysis for ongoing research aims; and disseminating MEL or research findings in reports or events. Pay Range Minimum $53,400.00, Midpoint $66,750.00, Maximum $80,100.00 Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range. |
