Summary: Join our team to collaborate with Technology management and develop IT strategies that align with our business goals. You'll work closely with Project Management on IT projects from start to finish, lead smaller initiatives, and design innovative IT solutions to meet business needs. This position is located onsite at our headquarters in Holyoke, MA Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Engage with IT management to create and support IT strategies that align with business goals.
- Contribute to the development and creation of documentation, supporting the achievement of organizational goals.
- Collaborate with Project Management on IT projects from inception to completion.
- Lead, develop project plans, track, and report on status for smaller IT-led projects.
- Partner with team members to design, develop, and implement IT solutions to address business needs.
- Assess potential risks associated with new IT implementations and upgrades, and work with the team to create and implement compensating controls.
- Document new processes and procedures for use by the IT team.
- Create detailed reports and deliver project updates to stakeholders.
- Monitor and follow up with IT team members regarding outstanding audit items.
- Collaborate with business units to ensure accurate access permissions for various software and complete the annual GLBA Attestation Form.
- Work with the IT team on annual updates to policies, standards, and procedures in accordance with organizational guidelines.
- Assist in the annual IT budgeting process.
- Play a significant role in long-term planning, project status reporting, and implementing change control processes.
- Proactively identify and monitor operational and tactical risks within daily departmental functions, promptly alerting management to potential issues. Collaborate with management to develop and implement effective solutions or controls to mitigate identified risks.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry regulations, trends, and technological advancements.
- Identify and monitor issues and conflicts, remove obstacles, resolve moderately complex problems involving stakeholders, and escalate matters to the appropriate level when necessary.
- Complete all yearly compliance training and testing, and comply with bank, federal, and state regulations. Adhere to Bank Policies and Procedures and departmental and bank-wide service standards.
- Perform related duties as required.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a technical support role
- Will consider a combination of education / certification and experience
Computer/Technical Skills / Certifications:
- MS Office 365 (including Teams)
- ITIL Foundations a plus
