Human by nature. Overall Objective Provide oversight for daily production planning activities related to meeting customer demands, and managing capacity, inventory, and service levels. Functionally lead production planning team and processes while partnering with supporting functions for issue management and process improvement. Subject matter expert on production planning and related processes. You will be based in Cincinnati, OH. Core Responsibilities Key Results areas
Develop a deep understanding of the replenishment systems and processes and train and coach other planners on these processes. Build constructive and effective relationships with key stakeholders and teams such as customer care, commercial, production, raw material planning, logistics, quality and transportation. Resolve or escalate supply issues by working with internal stakeholders as required. Support Production and Material Planners where needed. Improve system and process utilization enhancing service to customers. Share best practices and ideas with your team involving cross-functional teams as needed to achieve the most efficient ways of working. Support cost reduction projects and improvement initiatives. Follow Givaudan procedures, guidelines, and best practices in relevant areas including safety, and address and implement where missing. Support the development of training programs, manuals, and methods of implementation to ensure stable and best-practice execution of planning. You will report to your Manager Primary Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration or equivalent. Experience Min. 5 years experience in supply planning, supply chain, or production planning. Knowledge of Planning, Inventory Management, and Supply Chain best practices. Leadership experience in integrated Supply Chain. APICS. Experience in the flavour, ingredient, or fragrance industry. 6 Sigma / lean Yellow or Green Belt is a plus. Technical Skills Strong working knowledge in planning. Experience with supply and preferably production and demand. Shows flexibility when solving issues. Affinity to systems and analytical tools. Continuous improvement mindset. Learning and training skills. Working knowledge BI, BO, MS Office, Google, and SAP.
