Under limited supervision, evaluates client's skin and determines the best treatments for enhancing appearance. Responsible for providing clients with skin care consultations, developing personalized treatment plans and skillfully performing treatments. Education Esthetician Associate degree or certificate program Experience 5 years' experience working as a Master/Medical Esthetician. Experience in chemical peels and facials. Experience with microdermabrasion preferred but not required Skills Proficiency in developing and implementing effective plan of care and evaluating outcome of the intervention. Ability to sell appropriate skincare products to clients Familiarity with Epic Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Effective planning and organizational skills in order to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously Demonstrates skill in patient experience and service recovery Skill in written and oral communication Service oriented mindset Licensure, Certifications Master Esthetician licensed esthetician. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk and pay close attention to detail Principal Duties and Responsibilities Conduct client consultations to discuss skincare concerns and goals Evaluate clients' skin conditions and devise treatment plans Analyze the client's skin condition and discuss the best skincare treatment Perform a variety of skincare treatments such as facials, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion Understand risks and benefits of facials and chemical peels Determine skin regimen tailored to each client's skin needs Advise clients on how to take care of their skin and recommend appropriate skincare products Recommend skincare products and provide clients with skincare education Provide education for skin health Maintain accurate client records and provide follow-up care as needed Maintain treatment records of clients Follow all health and safety regulations, including maintaining a clean and sanitized work area Maintain a clean and sterile treatment room Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and techniques Stay updated on the latest industry trends, treatments, and products Train and mentor other estheticians in the practice Manage appointments and process payments for services Participate in marketing including screenings and events Possess knowledge about all aspects of services, post-treatment care recommendations, and the facility to ensure guests are provided with accurate information Understand products being sold and manage sales All roles must demonstrate GBMC Values: Respect I will treat everyone with courtesy.
