Multi Cloud System Administrator needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client to work hybrid in Decatur, Illinois! *ability to obtain a public trust is required for role* Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field and 4+ years experience in managing compute environments. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. * Proficiency in both Windows Server and Linux Server operating systems and application management. * Demonstrated understanding of cybersecurity and server hardening concepts. * Proficiency with administering network architectures and concepts such as DNS, VPN, DHCP, TLS, IP subnetting and routing. * Demonstrated ability to automate infrastructure tasks. * Demonstrated ability to independently isolate and resolve problems. * Self-starter that can work independently while possessing the communication skills to work effectively with software development teams and customers. * Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. * Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development. * Ability to obtain public trust clearance. Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree in Computer Science or similar field. * Cloud or security related certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, and Certified Information System Security Professional. * Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure Policy, or Azure EntraID.
