WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Lead a team of buyer analysts supporting the Data Center Solutions (DCS) business.
- Actively define, recommend, and deploy strategies for procurement processes.
- Drive KPI's for Cash, Stockouts, and other operational maintenance metrics.
- Monitors inventory levels, forecasts demand, and manages stock to minimize costs and avoid shortages.
- Oversees the operations of the supply chain satisfy production and customer needs.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and other stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and communicate supply disruption risks to leadership and site stakeholders.
- Build culture and talent within the team.
- Create opportunities for career growth, progression, and personal development.
- Own safety stock levels and process of updating ERP from the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) stocking recommendation tool while balancing program end of life for components.
- Responsible for maintaining data integrity of safety stocks, purchase order dates, lead times, and other key ERP fields related to the purchasing process.
- Interface regularly with Program Management, Engineering, and Sourcing to obtain alignment on new projects, end of life for components, and broader supply chain strategies.
- Much of the work will be in a normal office environment and will include extended periods of sitting, standing, and repetitive motion tasks.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or any related fields is required.
- 2+ years experience in a leadership role.
- 3+ years previous experience in or with Supply Chain Management.
- People first mindset to build upon a strong and collaborative culture conducive to obtaining consistent results.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to present and influence views in a clear and compelling manner.
- Capability to logically solve problems and keep projects moving.
- Proficient data acumen to analyze trends to make informed decisions.
- Capacity to operate within a rapidly changing demand environment to support high growth business.
- Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands.
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Pay Transparency
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $105,000.00 - $195,000.00
