STS Technical Services is hiring a Plasma / Burn Table Operator in Brookfield, Wisconsin, to support operations at Cutting Edge Fabrication - a growing company known for producing high-quality metal weldments for industries like transportation, defense, and aerospace.

As a Plasma / Burn Table Operator, you'll be responsible for programming and running a computer-controlled plasma cutting machine to cut steel plate and sheet material to exact specifications. This is a hands-on role requiring mechanical skill, blueprint reading, and precision in handling heavy materials.

• Program and set up plasma cutting machines based on production specs
  
• Select and install appropriate consumables based on material type and thickness
  
• Load raw materials onto the cutting table using an overhead crane
  
• Operate forklifts and lift trucks to move materials safely
  
• Inspect cut parts using tape measures, calipers, and other precision tools
  
• Clean, grind, and deburr cut pieces as needed
  
• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
  
• Complete job-related paperwork and production documentation
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  

• Proven ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and technical drawings
  
• Familiarity with inspection tools such as calipers and gauges
  
• Comfortable using basic shop math and computer-controlled equipment
  
• Ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely (certification preferred)
  
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship
