Intercollegiate Athletics Job Description
The University of Missouri Athletics Department is seeking a Turfgrass Specialist. This individual will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day maintenance and preparation for all Mizzou Athletics sports fields, grounds, and landscaping within the Mizzou Sports Park. Duties will include: Assisting with the planning, coordinating, and managing of the athletic sports turf, natural and artificial, for practice and competition. Performing and supervising maintenance repairs of turf equipment. Assisting with the maintenance and inventory of equipment and supplies. Ensuring the stadium and playing surfaces are clean and ready for games. Maintaining a relationship with coaching staffs for enhanced communication. Coordinating part time workers, including students. Other duties as assigned. Shift
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Nights, Weekends, as required. Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Anticipated Hiring Range
