As the Senior Digital Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading the strategic development and management of our digital chat and bot experiences within our OptumRx business. You will drive the vision, roadmap, and execution of our digital bot experiences, ensuring they align with business objectives and deliver exceptional value to our customers. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our digital, innovate in a fast-paced environment, and drive business growth through innovative product strategies

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Product strategy: Define and drive the strategic vision for digital bot experiences, aligned with business goals and user needs
  • Feature prioritization: Prioritize features and enhancements based on user research, market analysis, and business objectives
  • Roadmap development: Develop and maintain product roadmaps, communicating priorities and timelines to stakeholders
  • Requirements gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with design, engineering, marketing, and other teams to ensure successful execution of product initiatives
  • Product development: Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet user needs
  • User experience (UX) optimization: Advocate for user-centered design principles, conducting user research and usability testing to inform product decisions
  • Performance monitoring and reporting: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of our digital products, iterating based on data-driven insights. Communicate key management by objectives (MBOs) and
  • performance metrics to leaders at a regular cadence or ad hoc per line of business requests
  • Market analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor products, and industry best practices, identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation
  • Stakeholder communication: Communicate product updates, milestones, and challenges to stakeholders, fostering transparency and alignment

Required Qualifications:



  • 7+ years of experience in digital product management and/or bot/chat experiences, with a track record of delivering successful digital products or features and a deep understanding of product management principles, methodologies, and best practices
  • Solid experience with agile development methodologies
  • Proven exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Proven analytical mindset, with the ability to use data to drive product decisions and measure success
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and find innovative solutions
  • Proven passion for user experience and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience in developing and deploying chatbots
  • Experience working in the healthcare, retail or finance industries
  • Experience with digital messaging and chat/bot platforms (Live Person, Amazon Lex, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of AI, machine learning, and natural language processing



Total Compensation. As part of your total compensation package, which includes base, bonus opportunity, PTO and holiday pay, you will also receive these benefits at these rates, not to mention a remote work opportunity and healthy work/life balance.

Benefits pricing

The salary range for this role is $106,800 to $194,200 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
