Your Impact You will be part of McKinsey's Ethics and Compliance (E&C) function, whose mission is to drive holistic trust, protect our firm while enabling impact, and support our colleagues to serve with the highest integrity. The Ethics and Compliance function is a globally integrated team within the second line of defense of the firm. As a E&C Coordinator, you will be based in North America as part of our E&C Monitoring and Response team. This team conducts periodic risk-based monitoring that evaluates adherence with regulatory and internal requirements, across the life cycle of engagements, and provides recommendations for program improvements. You will play a key role in developing firm-wide Ethics and Compliance capabilities by assisting in implementing and executing a comprehensive monitoring program. You will be instrumental in selecting samples, reviewing documentation, assessing non-compliance and supporting remediation efforts. You will collaborate closely with colleagues from firm's Risk and Legal groups to ensure cross-functional communication as it relates to monitoring results and overall remediation efforts. Your role will be a key contributor to developing solutions tailored for the unique needs of our Firm, and you will be expected to collaborate with a varied set of stakeholders across all firm functions on the programmatic needs of the firm while also being a pivotal contributor to the overall change management process. Your qualifications and skills Undergraduate degree or advanced graduate degrees in Law or Accounting 3+ years of professional experience in risk, ethics, compliance and/or governance in a large organization 1+ years testing internal controls, conducting compliance audits, or monitoring compliance programs Analytical mindset with excellent organizational and project management skills Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and local office language(s), with the ability to adjust your style to suit different perspectives and seniority levels Strong entrepreneurial drive and ownership mentality to progress on ambiguous problems and see them through to resolution Experience working in highly dynamic cross-functional and global teams Exceptional time management to meet your responsibilities in a complex and largely autonomous work environment Bilingual preferred Please review the additional requirements regarding essential job functions of McKinsey colleagues.
