OVERVIEW The Supply Chain Analytics Consultant enhances Supply Chain decision making with Operations Research and Industrial Engineering solutions. The Supply Chain Analytics Consultant will provide advanced analytics and insights to company leadership about End to End Supply Chain processes. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Internal Consulting Leadership
- Maintaining an active business partnership with functional leadership for strategic planning, feasibility and on-going operations
- Providing leadership, project management and analysis for the development and implementation of analytical solutions that support business objectives such as capacity management, site selection, and optimization and simulation of supply chain operations
- Enabling the improvement of logistics, supply chain systems and business processes to conduct supply chain operations efficiently
- Working on physical goods and data flow processes of multiple core areas in supply chain, including demand planning, supply planning, manufacturing, sourcing, warehousing, and transportation
Supply Chain Analytics
- Implement Operations Research solutions in the areas of Network Design, Network Planning, Production and Capacity Planning and Demand Planning
- Applying mathematical modeling methods, including linear programming, mixed integer programming, simulation; and statistical methods including time series analysis, multiple linear regression, analysis of variance, and design of experiments to provide solutions to complex business questions
- Manipulating and analyzing complex data sets through MS Access and SQL queries to answer questions, develop business insights, and create inputs for mathematical and statistical models
- Reviewing and analyzing Supply Chain operational data and assumptions to support accurate representation of the operational environment in the mathematically defined model
- Researching, developing and implementing new methodologies and techniques that enable superior business performance, and assisting internal clients in leveraging external partnerships with academic and industry organizations
Project Management
- Directly and indirectly leading project teams and resources to meet organizational priorities to optimize project delivery dates, resource effectiveness and team learning and development, including working with cross-functional (Supply Chain, Sales and Finance) project teams on modeling project scope, design, alignment, execution, and tracking
- Line of sight to scalability by working with business teams, including technology teams, to implement and sustain mathematical model outcomes through a solid understanding of supply chain modules of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems including production planning and scheduling, transportation and warehouse management, and sourcing and procurement
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree required
- Strong track record of innovation aptitude, ability to apply engineering principles, and problem solving
- Strong leadership skills, including experience leading others in projects or programs, and the ability to successfully interact with individuals representing other areas or interests
- Understanding and experience interacting with multiple business functions
- Ability to identify potential business solutions involving a broad scope of thinking across businesses and functions to develop new innovation
- Must have 3-5 years of industry experience in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience must include two (2) years of experience with all of the following:
- Reviewing and analyzing Supply Chain operational data and assumptions to support accurate representation of the operational environment in the mathematically defined model
- Directly and indirectly leading project teams and resources to meet organizational priorities to optimize project delivery dates, resource effectiveness and team learning and development,
- Enabling the improvement of logistics, supply chain systems and business processes to conduct supply chain operations efficiently

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree preferred in the following fields: Supply Chain, Logistics Engineering, Operations Research, or Industrial Engineering

- This role is open to remote work arrangements, candidates must live more than 50 miles from their assigned work location to be eligible.

The salary range for this position is $91900.00 - $138000.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
