Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Endpoint Manager to join our dynamic Digital Workplace team. As the Endpoint Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of endpoint engineers & collaboration engineers providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the successful design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's endpoint infrastructure as well as providing best in class productivity tools, devices, and services. You will foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment while aligning the team's efforts with organizational goals and driving continuous improvement.

Your Role & Responsibilities





  • Team Leadership and Development: Provide leadership, direction, and support to the Endpoint Engineering Team, fostering a positive and high-performance work culture. Set clear expectations, facilitate effective communication, and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.


  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, ensuring the appropriate staffing levels and skills within the team to meet project requirements and organizational objectives. Manage workloads, assignments, and performance evaluations of team members.


  • Endpoint Infrastructure Strategy: Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and develop the strategic direction and roadmap for endpoint infrastructure design and management. Ensure alignment with business objectives, scalability, and security requirements.


  • Oversee the Collaboration (Digital Workplace) team responsible for end-user technology, services, and platforms, focused on delivering a seamless workforce experience accessing EB's tools, apps and services.
  • Lead Microsoft 365/EXO/collaboration tools adoption and technical efforts
  • Stay current of all things Microsoft 365/EXO/collaboration tools adoption, including changes, updates, roadmap, releases, and third-party solutions.
  • Manage the team responsible for the operational health of the Microsoft 365/EXO/collaboration tools environment, including security, availability, performance, and interoperability.
  • Manage evangelization and driving adoption with end-users.
  • Ensure collaboration space is aligned with all our requirements.
  • Work in both strategic and operational environments
  • Project Management: Oversee and manage endpoint & collaboration engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Assign tasks, track progress, and resolve issues to ensure successful project delivery.


  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, security, and operations teams, to align endpoint & collaboration engineering strategies with overall IT objectives. Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.


  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and evaluate endpoint performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimization strategies to enhance system efficiency and end-user experience.


  • Governance and Compliance: Ensure endpoint & collaboration engineering activities comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies. Implement and maintain appropriate governance processes, controls, and documentation.


  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Participate in the recruitment and selection process for endpoint engineering team members. Facilitate smooth onboarding and training to ensure new hires integrate effectively into the team and align with organizational practices.


  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging innovation, knowledge sharing, and the adoption of best practices. Identify opportunities for process enhancements, tools, and automation to improve endpoint engineering efficiency.


  • Budget and Vendor Management: Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to manage the budget for endpoint engineering activities. Evaluate and manage relationships with vendors, ensuring optimal utilization of external resources when needed.





Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience




  • Proven experience as an Endpoint Manager or Collaboration, Manager/Senior Manager in an digital workplace engineering or related technical field.


  • Strong expertise in endpoint engineering, including designing, implementing, and managing endpoint & collaboration infrastructure.


  • Deep understanding of endpoint management tools and technologies, including Intune and Azure Virtual Desktops.
  • Must have extensive experience in the entire M365 stack and Exchange Online, with proven experience providing end-user device support in an organization of similar scale and complexity.


  • Familiarity with endpoint security concepts, including antivirus, encryption, patch management, and vulnerability management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 and systems administration.
  • Experience in implementing and supporting softphones (such as Vonage or Teams Phones), Teams Rooms and eFax.
  • Experience of other collaboration tools such as Zoom and Google Workspace is a preferred.


  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and develop team members.


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.


  • Project management experience, with the ability to oversee multiple projects and prioritize work effectively.


  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage resources, budgets, and timelines.


  • Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and IT service management frameworks is a plus.


  • Relevant certifications are a plus.

The anticipated annual base salary for this position in the US is $120,000 to $160,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
