Job Title: Product Acceptance Spec C

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Location: North Charleston, SC

Working Shift: 3rd shift 11pm - 530am (Training will be 5-6 weeks on 1st shift (some training could be on 2nd shift))

Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Verifies complex product conformance to design requirements.
  • Provides objective evidence of results.
  • Validates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Must support inspection and verification of operations Level C and D determined work statement majority of the time.
  • Identifies and documents discrepancies and segregates and controls non-conforming items.
  • Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.
  • Perform preliminary review and disposition of non-conforming items.
  • Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.
  • Expertise in generation of all Velocity EPDs (PU, CI, NC, CA).
  • This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the North Charleston, SC site.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 8+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or a regulated industry
  • A&P License
  • 2+ years of experience using Velocity, REDARs and/or CMES
  • Composite fabrication experience
  • Structural work experience (wing work)
  • Wiring
  • Production testing experience
  • 1+ years of experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience identifying critical path analysis, float analysis, schedule impact analysis, recovery planning, root cause analysis, trend analysis, schedule quality metrics, and risk analysis
  • Mastery of inspection techniques using visual, tactile and tool assisted inspection methods
  • Experience in a team environment
  • Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience
  • 787 Program Experience


Additional Notes:

  • Successful completion and clearance of all screening requirements is a contingency for this assignment.
  • 5-6 weeks of training


Education:

Typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
