Job Description
This position provides essential administrative, financial, and customer service support for Missouri S&T Parking and Transportation Services.
- Business Support Functions:
- Deliver exceptional customer service in person, via phone, and through electronic communications
- Process payments for citations and parking permits
- Greet and assist visitors, route calls, and respond to general inquiries
- Create and track expense reports; monitor departmental budget expenditures
- Research and compile information for reports, presentations, and correspondence
- Review and reconcile departmental accounts
- Manage HR processes including posting positions, setting up interviews, and timekeeping
- Process requisitions, vouchers, and related financial documentation
- Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, resolve issues, and manage orders
- Oversee office supply inventory and order necessary equipment and materials
- Accurately process payments and prepare bank deposits
- Assist in maintaining departmental website content and social media presence
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
- Parking and Transportation Services:
- Use parking software to handle inquiries, issue permits, and process payments
- Support parking enforcement officers with field inquiries
- Provide customer assistance in parking garages, including payment troubleshooting
- Assist with parking operations, including but not limited to, meter collections and event logistics
- Help coordinate shuttle services, including scheduling and routing
- Compile reports on student shuttle usage
- Serve as a backup shuttle driver as needed
- Fleet Management:
- Assist in enrolling departments into the fleet management program
- Schedule vehicle rentals and ensure proper usage tracking
- Oversee vehicle maintenance scheduling and coordination
- Maintain campus vehicle inventory
Minimum Qualifications
- An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
- Must have a valid driver's license and obtain a chauffeur's license within one month of the start date
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $16.82-$19.00 hourly. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
