NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the part-time position of Building Services Assistant based in our Charlotte, North Carolina office.

The Building Services Assistant is responsible for executing the day-to-day tasks for the successful operation of the facility.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Maintain inventory on all floors to ensure adequate supply stock for employees and visitors (office supplies, beverages, etc.).

• Accept, sort and deliver mail / packages.

• Assist with the setup of meeting rooms for internal and external meetings.

• Assist with the packaging of materials for shipment as needed.

• Create labels for shipping using multiple platforms, including FedEx, UPS, USPS.

• Perform light maintenance and repairs as needed, including installing whiteboards, picture hanging, changing lightbulbs, and other projects as requested; monitor facility (in the course of day-to-day tasks) and report any irregularities that need to be addressed.

Required skills / experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license required
• Able to work independently and meet established deadlines
• Able to prioritize tasks and adjust to shifting priorities.
• Able to interact professionally with vendors and employees at all levels of the organization.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
