Project Manager- Manhattan Associates WMS & Softeon WMS

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with 10 to 12 years of expertise in managing complex projects within the Transportation and Logistics domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Manhattan WMS and Softeon WMS. This hybrid role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to drive project success in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of projects within the Transportation and Logistics domain to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
• Oversee project scope goals and deliverables ensuring they align with stakeholder expectations and company objectives.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress ensuring all projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget.
• Manage changes to the project scope project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure successful project completion.
• Report and escalate to management as needed to ensure project issues are addressed promptly.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide direction and support to project team members fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation to meet project demands and timelines.
• Utilize expertise in Manhattan WMS and Softeon WMS to optimize project outcomes and drive efficiency.
• Conduct risk management to minimize project risks and ensure project success.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to support project transparency and accountability.

Qualifications

• Possess a strong technical background in Manhattan WMS and Softeon WMS essential for project success.
• Demonstrate extensive experience in the Transportation and Logistics domain crucial for understanding project requirements.
• Exhibit excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Show proficiency in project management software tools to facilitate project planning and execution.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
• Display problem-solving skills to address project challenges and ensure successful outcomes.
• Maintain a proactive approach to managing project risks and opportunities.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $112,000 - $132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
