Description One of TEKsystems' clients, a Fortune 500 company and leader in their respective industry (mining/construction) is looking for a Sr. Level Desktop Support Technician to join their technical support services organization. We are looking for a candidate to serve as the sole Desktop Support specialist for our client's secondary headquarters located in Irving (Las Colinas), TX. Since the candidate will be responsible for the entire site, the candidate must have several years of experience proving technical support in a Windows 10/11 environment. There are many times when the candidate will serve the executives at the location and set up conference calls and meetings, so experience with GoogleMeet (or Teams) is required. The candidate will be responsible for new user setups, installations, configurations of desktops/laptops, printers, mobile devices, etc. The IMAC work includes cabling, connectivity, etc. Secondarily, on an as needed basis, the candidate will be the primary backup to the field technicians who support the remote sites within a couple of hour radius. These sites are often outdoors, (ie quarrys, mines, sales yards) and also have a full complement of technologies that need to be supported. When travel to the sites is needed, the candidate will have access to a company vehicle. Business casual (plus) attire. Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
