Job Title: Principal Forging Design Engineer
Department: 6100 - Engineering Location: High Bridge, NJ Summary The principal forging design Engineer plays a critical role in our manufacture process of specialty customer forgings through development of forging process, tooling and dies by applying industry best practices and computer aid simulations. This position is responsible for developing, analyzing, and implementing forging process to manufacture high quality forging products, optimizing current forging practice to improve quality, efficiency and exceeding customer expectations. It requires extensive understanding of metallurgical/mechanical engineering principles, forging best practices, strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude, it also requires collaboration across multiple teams to ensure continuous improvement and compliance to customer specifications and industry standards.
