Summary of Position:

The Supervisor Production Planning & Control manages the Production Planning and Control team daily. This position is responsible for the planning and, through coordination with leadership in other organizations, ensures the creation and maintenance of:

  • Daily plans for Operations
  • Key metrics reporting on operations status
  • Constraint management and resolution
  • Procedural documentation of Production Planning activities
  • Critical Path, milestone, and sequencing creation and execution
  • Create and maintain 139,119 Plan
  • Analyze critical path, milestone and capacity requirements to refine daily Plans
  • Interface with manufacturing support groups and leadership to understand operational constraints and provide resolution
  • Coordinate with Work Analysis and Operations to forecast staffing requirements
  • Maintain WO process with Production Control Team

Coordinate parts issuance process from warehouse to floor to accomplish daily plan

Ensure creation and issuance of daily and weekly reports to include: status of aircraft progress, cost, adherence to schedule, etc

Create and maintain 139,119 Operational Plans including Build Up

5.

Assist with creation of and maintenance of production planning procedural documentation

6.

Ensure Optimal Utilization of Personnel and Materials to Meet Operational

Plan (Includes Manpower Forecast, Critical Segment Analysis,

Work Flow Prioritization, etc.)

7.

Interact with Material Planning group (for parts availability) and clearance of any

Shortage delays, and escalates critical parts to Materials and Procurement Management.

8.

Analyze critical path, milestone, and sequencing requirements to develop

plans to achieve Program Operational schedule goals

Qualifications for Position:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (required)

Combination of relevant education and experience will be considered in lieu of degree

Experience:

5 - 7 years Operations (production, scheduling, warehouse, materials management) experience
