Claremont, CA Job Posting Title: Administrative Assistant, PhilanthropyJob Description: PRIMARY PURPOSE/GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Administrative Assistant will perform a broad range of highly skilled administrative and organizational work for the Philanthropy department within the External Relations and Institutional Advancement division (ERIA). The Administrative Assistant will serve as the primary staff support for the Associate Vice President for Philanthropy and general support to the Philanthropy department, which includes Principal Gifts, Planned Giving, Foundation, Corporate & Government and Relations, Regional Development and Major Gifts, and Leadership Annual Giving and The Scripps Fund. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: This information is intended to be a descriptive of the key responsibilities of the position. QUALIFICATION STANDARDS: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree or any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and ability to perform the job. Three to four years of related administrative experience in an educational institution is preferred. LICENSES / CERTIFICATES: None. OTHER: HOURS & CLASSIFICATION AND STATUS: This is a regular status, full-time, benefits-eligible, non-exempt position. The regular hours of this position are 8:00 am-5:00 pm Monday-Friday. Hours may vary due to the needs of the College or the department. Hourly rate range: $20.00-$22.00. The hourly rate of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: None.
