Position Title: Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE)

Position Overview
ISPA Technology is seeking a motivated
Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to support cybersecurity and information assurance efforts across NAVWAR and PEO C4I programs. This position is ideal for professionals with foundational experience in cybersecurity engineering and a working knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes within the DoD environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity engineering practices in accordance with DoD RMF policies and procedures.
Provide support for system security assessments, documentation development, and control implementation.
Collaborate with engineering teams and program stakeholders to integrate cybersecurity into system design and sustainment activities.
Manage security authorization artifacts and packages in DISA's Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).
Run scans, identify vulnerabilities, and assess compliance using the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
Support the preparation of System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Assessment Reports (SARs), and other key RMF deliverables.
May be required to hold or obtain an Interim Security Control Assessor (SCA) qualification depending on program assignment.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency certificate is acceptable when accompanied by sufficient relevant experience.
2 + years of practical experience in one or more of the following areas: Cybersecurity, Engineering, Test & Evaluation (T&E) and Authorization & Accreditation (A&A), now RMF
Hands-on experience with eMASS for managing RMF workflows and ACAS (Tenable Nessus or SecurityCenter) for vulnerability scanning and compliance reporting
