Quality Engineer Intern Requisition ID: 43709 Job Location(s): Shawnee, OK, US Employment Type: Part Time Segment: Danfoss Power Solutions Segment Job Function: R&D, Technology and Engineering Work Location Type: On-site Job Description We are seeking a motivated college student to join the Danfoss Quality Team in support of our Hydraulics facility in Shawnee, Oklahoma. This is an exceptional opportunity for undergraduate or graduate students to gain hands-on experience during Summer 2025. As a Quality Intern, you will work alongside experienced quality professionals, contributing to process improvements and supporting daily operations to help ensure the business runs efficiently. In this role, you will make a meaningful impact on our customer and consumer support functions. Each day will bring new challenges, offering a dynamic environment where you can apply your problem-solving skills and grow professionally. You will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of projects, enhancing your understanding of quality systems, business operations, and continuous improvement practices. Job Responsibilities Work closely with tech support, customer service, and account management to analyze customer rejection needs and build sustainable solutions. Research best-in-class reporting standards and processes that we can apply. Play a key role in root cause analysis/reporting to help the enterprise better understand and identify opportunities to improve customer service. Implement best practices and procedures to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency. Attend roundtables and meetings with customers for direct insight and feedback. Support Capability studies in Minitab to evaluate equipment capability. Updating AOI/OI documents , Backing up machine data such programs and parameters Perform other duties as assigned Background & Skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to work across functional areas to achieve desired outcomes. Proficient in analyzing and/or managing multiple streams of data. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
