Office of Human Resources Job Description
The University of Missouri - St. Louis (UMSL) seeks an experienced recruitment leader to provide exceptional recruitment services to support UMSL in achieving its operational and strategic objectives. Working as both an HR leader and subject matter expert for UMSL, the Lead Recruitment Consultant will focus on operational excellence (in partnership with the UM System Recruitment Center of Expertise) while also looking to install and execute strategic hiring practices for key, difficult-to-fill positions that aid the university fulfilling its important missions. Reporting to the Executive Director of HR (and Chief Human Resources Officer for UMSL) The Lead Recruitment Consultant will work to develop and lead a high-impact recruitment function that works to implement efficient and consistent hiring approaches across the university, as well as installing targeting strategic hiring practices that are informed by best talent acquisition practices in similarly complex organizations. In order to be successful in both focus areas, the Lead Recruitment Consultant will work in very close partnership with senior administration, faculty, as well as colleagues within HR and other service departments throughout the university. Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
