Role Summary

Join Rivian's Remarketing Business Intelligence team in Irvine, CA, as a Senior Remarketing Adviser, Lease-End! Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Intelligence - Remarketing & Vehicle Sales Strategy, you'll play a vital role in supporting various aspects of Rivian's pre-owned and financial services businesses related to lease-end operations, including the buying and selling of off-lease vehicles, process development, and working closely with Chase's Remarketing counterpart, Rivian's lending partner. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing effective processes, managing partner relationships, and ensuring a seamless lease-end experience for all parties including Rivian, Chase, and the customer.

The ideal candidate will be well versed in the automotive finance industry that is equipped with strong problem-solving and leadership skills that can be creative in developing solutions to various types of obstacles. This candidate should be detail oriented with strong communication, multitasking and time management skills. This role is a hybrid position, with the ideal candidate based within Southern California.


Responsibilities

  • Manage comprehensive lease-end programs that optimize customer experience and operational efficiency by working with internal and external partners with Rivian Consumer Finance team
  • Analyze current lease-end processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices to streamline operations. Collaborate with the Rivian Pre-Owned team to establish lease-end disposition strategies.
  • Act as the supporting liaison between Rivian Remarketing and Chase Remarketing to provide comprehensive program support.
  • Develop training initiatives for staff on lease-end processes, customer service excellence, and program updates.
  • Work closely with sales, finance, and marketing teams to align lease-end strategies to develop brand loyalty.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, outlining program performance, customer trends, and strategic recommendations by partnering with Chase Remarketing to define requirements for lease-end reporting and data analytics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Automotive Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in automotive finance, project management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, particularly Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides
  • Strong knowledge of lease agreements, automotive finance, used vehicle operations, and customer relationship management.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve intuitively
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Organized presentation design and creation
  • Ability to multi-task in a high energy, fast-paced team oriented work environment
  • Flexible ability to work independently or with internal/external partners

Physical Requirements

  • Willingness to work in various working conditions including being in a full service retail center or unpredictable weather conditions
  • Physical exertion may be required to perform occupational tasks (sitting up to 2 or more hours at a time, standing for up to 8 or more hours a day, walking, bending, kneeling, laying, twisting, carrying, reaching, stretching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs).
  • Frequent use of hands for purposes of grasping and using tools correctly, entering data, writing communications, or calling customers or internal partners
  • Strong understanding of written and spoken English
  • Ability to see, read and interpret documents such as governmental regulations, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions or schematics

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $78,000-$97,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time and part-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Full Time Employee coverage is effective on the first day of employment. Part-Time employee coverage is effective the first of the month following 90 days of employment."
