Job Location: Rockledge, FL
Scope:
Perform duties to gather, review and consider any range of production data to coordinate and ensure product shipment on time, and inventory management practices are working within the limits of standard or accepted practice.
Essential Functions:
- Serve as a backup for the Logistics Manager, providing support and assuming responsibility in their absence to ensure continuity of operations.
- Gather, sort, review, verify a wide range of production related statistics to track productivity, efficiency, material utilization, and similar data for use in shipping and Logistics reporting.
- Coordinate Department Teams in consideration of product and shipping requirements, inventory availability, die and material availability, and staffing schedules.
- Ensure physical inventory counts are performed that are under Logistics responsibility, tracked and updated in SAP system. Generate production inventory reports and assist production departments in resolving inventory control issues.
- Perform monthly closing routines to close out records for the period and prepare any range of Logistics related periodic or special reports, inventory closings, charts and documentation needed.
- Attend and participate in a variety of meetings and task force groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements and policies.
- Perform or assist with any departmental operations, as required or directed, to maintain workflow or respond to emergency conditions.

Experience & Knowledge Requirements:
- Associates Degree and a Minimum of two years direct manufacturing experience or a minimum of five years direct manufacturing environment experience working with Logistics functions and manufacturing.
- Strong mathematics and PC Skills
- Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Knowledge of process related standards
- Proven ability to develop successful partnerships with internal and external team members
- Inventory control systems and processes, MRP process, shipment processing
Preferred Experience & Knowledge Requirements
- ERP software experience (SAP a plus)
- Ability to think critically and theoretically
