The Rehab Manager is responsible for the daily operations of OSUWMC Inpatient Rehabilitation, ensuring that clinical activities support the OSUWMC and department specific mission, vision, and goals. This position is also responsible for managing the clinical business operations of the OSUWMC rehab locations and may also include the management of the quality assurance program, IHIS/EMR system, patient access, community outreach, and regional business development. Position acts as administrative lead for the practice with responsibilities of development for all programs offered within the rehab practice and partnering with OSUWMC inpatient and outpatient facilities as we expand services. The Rehab Manager ensures that daily operations support departmental and organizational quality, customer loyalty, and financial objectives. This position provides input for program development and provides leadership in rehabilitation, specifically physical therapy services. Responsible for managing human resources, clinical operations, and service expansion to other settings that are part of OSUWMC; educational enterprises; contractual agreements; overseeing public relationships, marketing, and budgets; participating in a broad range of operational decision-making affecting Rehab and its reputation; participating in strategic planning efforts with the Director; and implementing policies and procedures. The Manager will work collaboratively with the other members of the Inpatient Rehab leadership team and staff to achieve the mission and vision(s). MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS For Hire: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Recreational Therapy, or Speech amp; Language Pathology is required. Masters/Advanced degree is desired. Current State of Ohio License is required. Board Specialty Certification is desired. Demonstrated skills and abilities to permit independent functioning within the regulations and guidelines provided. Computer literacy and the working knowledge of Microsoft Office, required. Current BLS certification is required Maintains professional licensure; maintains BLS Certification; demonstrates commitment to continuing education; meets mandatory education and health requirements; demonstrates competence in technical, interpersonal, and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions. |
