POSITION SUMMARY: Boston Medical Center Health System is an approximately $8B system whose mission is to provide Exceptional Care without Exception. BMCHS is seeking a Director of Performance Optimization, primarily focused on advancing initiatives within the Pharmacy organization. The pharmacy section at BMCHS is an established wide-reaching, complex organization made up of one of the largest integrated specialty pharmacies in the country at nearly $1B in annual revenue, a leading clinical and residency program, and a health insurance company managing over 700,000 lives, working together as a system to deliver cutting edge clinical initiatives. The Director of Performance Optimization will serve as a key partner to the Executive Director, Strategy and Business Development, VP and Chief Pharmacy Officer of Hospital, and SVP, Pharmacy, Wellsense. They will focus on identifying, troubleshooting, and solving for system pharmacy optimizations, focused on but not limited to, 340B utilization, operational efficiency, financial performance and profitability. Must have prior experience successfully leading multi-stakeholder initiatives or launching programs in cross-functional environments, with demonstrated business knowledge.
