The Access Clinical Supervisor works closely with management and leadership across the enterprise to help facilitate and lead a multipronged approach that produces seamless access across a myriad of touchpoints for clients and referring providers. The Clinical Supervisor of the Access Division oversees clinical and programmatic aspects of one of the teams within the division. The individual establishes and maintains partnerships with stakeholders across the enterprise to create and sustain infrastructure and mechanisms to enhance access to care. This individual works closely with the Program Managers and staff across other divisions to ensure optimal client access strategies and workflows are developed, implemented, and sustained to clinical supports and seamless client service across Community Healthlink's care continuum.Virtual Hiring Event! Clinical and Nonclinical Leaders for UMass Memorial Health - Community Healthlink Tuesday, June 3 | Noon to 5 pm I. Major Responsibilities: 1. Participates as a member of the Access management team. Supervises and trains Access Clinicians, students, and call center specialists. Maintains required supervisory documentation. 2. Provides outpatient diagnostic evaluations and psychotherapeutic treatment services to children, adolescents, and adults in individual, family, couple, and group therapy as needed. 3. Provides consultation and educational services to community groups and agencies in a manner which respects diversity. 4. Provides direct clinical treatment, as needed, to adults, children and adolescents as represented in the caseload through diagnostic evaluations and screenings; crisis/emergency assessment and intervention; treatment planning and assessment; individual, group, couple and family therapy. 5. Participates in interdisciplinary diagnostic treatment and planning conferences. 6. Consults with area schools, doctors, individuals, and other social service agencies, insurance providers and hospital networks regarding clients, client services and case management. 7. Maintains client records and administrative records consistent with policy. 8. Attends administrative staff meetings as required. 9. Attends in-service education, clinical supervision, and professional meetings as required. Participates in required trainings. 10. Complete CCBHC Diagnostic Evaluations with individuals and families within the required timeframes per contractual and agency requirements: Urgent - 24 hours, Routine - 10 business days 11. Ensures that all BSAS requirements and procedures are being followed. This includes but is not limited to applications in documentation, random drug screening, and written reports to probation. Standard Staffing Level Responsibilities: 1. Complies with established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives. 2. Attends variety of meetings, conferences, seminars as required or directed. 3. Demonstrates use of Quality Improvement in daily operations. 4. Complies with all health and safety regulations and requirements. 5. Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients, and visitors. 6. Maintains, regular, reliable, and predictable attendance. 7. Performs other similar and related duties as required or directed. All responsibilities are essential job functions. II. Position Qualifications: License/Certification/Education: Required: 1. Doctoral or Master's degree in psychology, Social Work, or Mental Health Counseling. 2. Independent license in Massachusetts as a Psychologist Health Care Provider, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, or a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. 3. Satisfactory CORI background check. 4. Driving is not a requirement. Preferred: N/A Experience/Skills: Required: 1. Supervisory experience. 2. Strong assessment competence. Preferred: 1. Bilingual (Spanish) strongly encouraged to apply. Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements. Department-specific competencies and their measurements will be developed and maintained in the individual departments. The competencies will be maintained and attached to the departmental job description. Responsible managers will review competencies with position incumbents. III. Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions: Work is considered sedentary. Position requires work indoors in a normal office environment.
