This position combines both office and field responsibilities. The Planner is tasked with ensuring the safe, reliable, and environmentally sustainable operation and maintenance of our facilities. Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills are crucial for successful collaboration with vendors, Operations Maintenance Leads, craft leads, and both maintenance and operations teams in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

What You Will Do

  • Understanding of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Completing and documenting preventative maintenance activities associated with instrumentation and quality assurance programs.
  • Read and Maintain P&IDs and Schematic wiring diagrams in compliance with QA, and MOC policies.
  • Understand Process Loop interaction and impact on the process.
  • Assist in outage planning development with T/A planner.
  • Collaborating with all levels within the organization, communicating, mentoring, coaching, and helping advance our PBM culture.
  • Ensure maintenance work is planned in a proactive method by ensuring all activities are appropriately scoped, estimated, resourced, and in ready state prior to start of work
  • Support the execution of maintenance work by receiving, planning, estimating and coordinating maintenance work orders
  • Access elevated electrical and mechanical equipment using ladders, scaffolding, and man-lifts.
  • Occasional on-call responsibilities, as well as the potential for overtime and callouts during nights, weekends, and holidays. Turnaround support may also be required.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 7+ years of experience in industrial Instrumentation and Electrical (I/E) maintenance.
  • Practical experience and working knowledge of a wide range of Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) systems, equipment, and related trades, with a solid understanding of maintenance procedures and workflows.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system, including application for creating notifications, managing work orders, generating requisitions, and tracking maintenance history.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite

What Will Put You Ahead

  • 10+ years of experience in industrial Instrumentation and Electrical (I/E) maintenance.
  • Associate degree in Instrumentation or completion of vocational, trade, or apprenticeship training in the field of instrumentation.

This role is subject to the Transportation Workers Identification Credentialing (TWIC) rule and requires the successful candidate to obtain a TWIC identification badge, allowing for un-escorted access to the facility within a specific time period.

This role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
