Responsibilities

As an integral member of the Loan Operations Department, this position is mainly responsible for accomplishing numerous daily tasks that enhance the effectiveness of the Loan Operations Department. These tasks may include, but are not limited to, sorting and distribution of mail and processing all mail loan payments and maintenance.

  • Sort and distribute all mail (both external and interoffice) and faxes; open all mail not directed to a specific individual
  • Accept and sign for incoming FedEx, UPS, other express deliveries to Loan Ops.
  • Print and distribute all "Loan Payment and Maintenance" emails on a daily basis
  • Balance and process all loan payments received by mail on a daily basis, including the completion of substitute loan coupons
  • Print and mail SCRA notices on a daily basis
  • Organize and research returned mail to locate customer addresses and forward the mail accordingly. Use the Special Message Workflow to add respective messages to the loan accounts in the system.
  • Communicate with branches and other departments as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Education, Training and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • All applicants must be 18 years of age or older

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail as well as proven organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work effectively under time constraints
  • Strong PC skills including creation, use and manipulation of data on Excel spreadsheets
  • Mathematical aptitude
  • Effective team player
  • Must be able to consistently demonstrate the Company's core values: a strong work ethic, integrity, respect for others, responsibility, transparency and humility

Experience:

  • One (1) year of experience working in an office setting preferred

Other Job Information

Hours: 40 hours/week Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00

Compensation: Commensurate with experience plus potential for annual merit increase.
