About You:

This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences' RESPECT Service System.

About the Opportunity:

Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Director will be part of the Global Talent Acquisition team, responsible for working with the CHRO on developing strategy and responsible for managing aspects of and facilitating the recruitment process for key positions throughout the organization. The Director will work closely with senior leaders to ensure a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience within our hiring processes across all Hornblower entities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Establish recruiting requirements through the following:

    • Studying organization plans and objectives
    • Meeting with key business leaders to discuss strategy and staffing needs
    • Collaborating with CHRO and other functional leaders


  • Manage recruitment and workforce planning for Corporate Office
  • Attract top talent and diverse candidates across all levels of the organization and work closely with operational leaders and department heads to understand the company objectives
  • Create plans and strategies to improve recruitment performance
  • Employ a broad range of internal and external sourcing methods, recruitment technology, marketing, and employment branding to reach, attract, hire, and retain qualified and diverse candidates for all brands of Hornblower
  • Assure internal processes and protocols follow employment laws and regulatory requirements
  • Network with external sources, such as peer organizations, to stay abreast of any trends in recruitment and markets which could impact the business
  • Develop and implement metrics/KPIs to assess the effectiveness of the Talent Acquisition team, quality of the candidates, and vendors/external partners
  • Make the best use of tools and technology to ensure effective and efficient recruitment processes
  • Manage the overall recruiting functions, including full-time recruitment of salaried employees, college recruiting, and internship program
  • Research and understand recruitment market trends and participate in continuing educational opportunities
  • Assist Human Resources and Marketing/Communications with miscellaneous projects
  • Implement ATS and other tools related to Talent Acquisition
  • Train and develop Talent Acquisition team around process improvement
  • Additional job duties as assigned



Requirements & Qualifications:



  • College Degree required
  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ years in talent acquisition, with proven skills in sourcing, strategizing, and process improvements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Team player and have ability to work independently, self-motivating
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout Company organization
  • Ability to collaborate and partner well with others
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in building and managing a process
