Main Duties & Responsibilities

The Maintenance Manager reports to the Operations
Manager. This employee is responsible
for prioritizing, assigning, tracking and overseeing all maintenance activity
in support of equipment, the facility, and grounds. The Maintenance Manager sits on the safety
committee and must create an atmosphere of open communication, responsiveness,
and proactive equipment ownership.

This position requires strong leadership and
communication skills to work closely with all departments to assign and
prioritize maintenance activities. The
Maintenance Manager is accountable for the following metrics:

  • Departmental impact to OEE objectives
  • Preventative Maintenance compliance and timeliness
  • Management of critical spare parts and consumables
  • Manage of work orders and repair traceability

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Set departmental Lead and Lag Measurements in alignment with company goals
  • Manage departmental costs and expenditures to meet budgetary goals
  • Prioritize and assign maintenance activities
  • Work with scheduling to perform PM's efficiently, minimizing downtime and interruption
  • Source and manage contractors when necessary
  • Utilize PO system for vendor/contractor activities including part and service purchases
  • Manage all maintenance related W/O activity to closure
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all types of production and infrastructure equipment
  • Adherence to ISO 13485 procedures and company safety procedures

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Maintenance Management experience in an injection molding environment preferred
  • Experience in the medical device industry or ISO 13485 environment preferred
  • Experience with PLC's, automation, and vision systems preferred
  • Documented HVAC, hydraulic, electrical, and
    mechanical credentials preferred
