Lubbock Associate Director - Administration (ISCE) 41039BR ISCE Position Description Performs administrative duties in the management and coordination of a large specialized project and program. Under general supervision, performs varied and complex administrative duties requiring independent judgment and the application of established policies and procedures. May provide supervision and direction to clerical, paraprofessional or professional staff members. Major/Essential Functions The Associate Director will work within the Institute of Sustainability and Circular Economy (ISCE) and CASFER Engineering Research Center (https://www.casfer.us) under the direction of the Center Director and Managing Director, collaborating closely with CASFER institutional partners. This position will oversee comprehensive HR and financial, operational, and administrative functions, ensuring compliance with institutional and funding agency policies. The Associate Director will coordinate the HR operations of the center, overseeing multiple concurrent projects, lead the preparation of financial and HR reports, oversee budget tracking and resource allocation, and support the development and submission of large, complex funding proposals.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in the area of specialization or closely related field. Four years of related administrative and technical experience. Additional job related education may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis. Preferred Qualifications Master degree in business, accounting or human resources; 5 years of finance, accounting and or human resources experience; grant accounting and reporting experience.
