How will you make a difference to PMI?

PMI is looking for a Finance System Analyst II who will be responsible to automate and assure effective planning and reporting of financial information, as well as analyze and solve business problems, in partnership with team members across Finance and the business. Monitor finance data performance to identify improvements and areas for additional review.

What you'll bring to the role:



  • Successfully utilizes and supports oversight of the planning and reporting system, ensuring optimal system configuration and setup to support organization planning and forecasting processes
  • Evaluates data needs for planning and analysis; collaborates with the ERP and data teams to source the required information and automate processes where possible; evaluates internal data analysis tools and maintains protocols for handling, processing, and cleansing data
  • Analyzes data to answer key questions from business stakeholders, investigating and communicating areas for financial improvement in efficiency and productivity
  • Identifies trends and opportunities for business growth through analysis of data sets. Creates and maintains visualizations through data interpretation and analysis integrating reporting components
  • Collaborates with the VP Finance and the FP&A team to report on data analysis and provides needed status updates for team and organization awareness and understanding
  • Assures broad understanding and effective utilization of the finance system by team members and other business users, developing user guides and providing training on the data and planning tool functionality


Role Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Economics, or other related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience focusing on finance systems, preferably systems supporting planning, forecasting and reporting
  • Strong experience with MS Office; expert understanding of finance systems MS Dynamics Finance and Operations preferred
  • Experience in an agile and dynamic project-focused environment, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning and reporting, technical configuration of financial planning systems, and developing related data visualizations
  • Demonstrated success working with data, databases, and developing visualizations using a variety of tools and technologies (ex. Tableau, BI360)
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly develop advanced understanding of the business, planning processes, and business objectives
  • Basic understanding of finance business operations and industry solutions
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship building skills, delivering information in a clear and user-friendly manner
  • Proficiency in the business language for PMI (English)
  • Travel 5%
