About the Job
JPI has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Risk Manager to join our Legal team located Dallas, Texas.
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic risk management professional to support our construction and development operations. The ideal candidate has extensive experience identifying and mitigating risks across complex construction projects and capital structures, with deep expertise in data analysis, compliance, and enterprise risk strategy.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Risk Identification and Assessment:Identify potential risks and assess their likelihood and impact across the business, particularly trades and construction functions. Data Analysis:Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and potential risks. Risk Mitigation:Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks Reporting and Communication:Prepare reports and communicate findings to stakeholders, including management. Policy Development:Contribute to the development and implementation of risk management policies and the placement of policies. Collaboration:Work with other departments and teams to ensure risk management efforts are effective. Compliance:Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and industry standards. Project Management:May lead or support risk-related projects. Expertise:Provide expert guidance on risk management to the organization.

Education, Work Experience, & Physical Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, statistics, computer science). Master's or other advanced degree preferred. 7+ years of experience in risk analysis, risk management, or a related field. Proficiency in data analysis tools, statistical modeling, and other data management systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex risk information. A strong understanding of risk management principles and methodologies. Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards for ground up construction and economic development.
