The hotel features 247 rooms spread across 12 floors, setting a new standard for luxury accommodations in the DMV area. With the largest luxury meeting space in Northern Virginia, totaling 35,000 sq ft, it includes two ballrooms with 20-foot ceilings and plenty of natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows and a large skylight. The JW Residences occupy the remaining 16 floors. This impressive architectural gem is conveniently located along the Silver Line Metro, perfectly positioned between Dulles International and Reagan National airports, providing travelers with exceptional access to the capital region and beyond.

What will you be doing?



  • Oversee all stewarding operations, including dishwashing, kitchen sanitation, and equipment maintenance.
  • Manage and lead a team of stewards, ensuring productivity, training, and compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
  • Ensure all kitchens and back-of-house areas are clean, organized, and in full compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Control inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and chemicals, and manage ordering and cost control.
  • Collaborate closely with the culinary and food & beverage teams to support smooth service execution.
  • Maintain all stewarding equipment and ensure timely preventive maintenance and repairs.
  • Develop and implement deep-cleaning schedules and sanitation programs.
  • Support pre-opening planning, setup, and training for all stewarding areas.
  • Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff.
  • Attend all associates meetings, come up with sound suggestions on solving associates problems and promote and maintain effective communication between all of the food production areas within the kitchen.
  • Maintain and supervise good housekeeping practices in all areas in the kitchen. Turn in the daily cleaning checklist and practice and strictly enforce the "clean as you go" policy.
  • Inspect all workstations including the associates' cafeteria. Ensure proper set-up for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner.
  • Prepare daily production charts.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  • Perform any other job related duties as assigned..

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player. Ability to apply basic supervisory skills to plan, organize, direct, coach, train and discipline employees, as necessary. Ability to operate all types of kitchen equipment. Finger/hand dexterity in order to operate food machinery. Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, move goods weighing a maximum of 100 lbs. on a continuous schedule.

Every Crescent associate should adhere to the hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns.
