Mental Health Therapist - West Covina, CA

Required:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
• Currently holds or is eligible for licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
• At least 5 years of clinical experience working with individuals with mental health disorders and IDD, preferably in a community-based setting.
• Experience in providing individual, family, and group therapy.

Additional Requirements:

• Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Clear background check and ability to meet state licensing board requirements.

We are seeking a Licensed Therapist to support individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in Enhanced Behavioral Support Homes (EBSH).

This role provides therapeutic services to individuals and families facing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. With a specialized focus on individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in Enhanced Behavioral Support Homes (EBSH), the therapist tailors assessments, treatment plans, and interventions to align with each individual's developmental and cognitive needs. Collaboration with caregivers, staff, and interdisciplinary teams is essential to provide consistent and effective support systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct intake assessments, individual and family therapy sessions, and develop personalized treatment plans integrating mental health and behavioral objectives.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic strategies and provide behavior management guidance tailored to individuals with IDD.
• Collaborate with EBSH staff, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and support for residents.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
• Train and support staff in the DDTT/ITS product line to promote skill development and uphold the quality of services provided.

The pay rate for this position ranges from $55 to $58 per hour. Additional mileage reimbursement is also provided.
