Coins 'N Things, dba CNT Inc., is a privately held, family-owned business based in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Originally founded in 1973 as a retail shop for coin collectors, it has since grown into a large wholesale vendor of precious metals, supplying precious metals to government agencies, jewelers, and investors. Over the past five decades, CNT has expanded beyond precious metals, growing into a diversified enterprise with interests in real estate, manufacturing, and sports facility management.

We are currently seeking a staff accountant to join the team. This role will support the accounting department across multiple entities and will be part of a strong financial team dedicated to maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and strategic financial management across our various business operations.
Duties and responsibilities
- Record various financial transactions using QuickBooks, Sage, Salesforce & Acumatica.
- General ledger Account reconciliations.
- Process end-of-month procedures for various entities.
- Reconcile accounting discrepancies by collecting transaction activity and making appropriate corrections.
- Prepare all journal entries to prepare for monthly financial statements.
- Knowledge of budget preparation is preferred but not required.
- Manufacturing accounting is preferred but not required.
- Provide support to other accounting staff members when necessary.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent, Degree in Accounting preferred
- Accounting experience needed.
- 2-5 years related experience or greater.
- Knowledge of Sage 100, QuickBooks, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, Salesforce & Acumatica.
- Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills.
- Professional experience working with confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to work in a multi-company, family-owned environment
- Flexible to changes.
- Fluent in Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Fluency in English, both written and oral
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
