The Solutions Engineer role serves as a liaison between business users and technology services, specifically in the enterprise applications space. This role involves using extensive technical knowledge to offer software solutions, either off the shelf or custom-built per client needs. The Solutions Engineer will work alongside other team members to present products to clients and answer technical questions they may have. Additionally, they will provide technical support to administer, develop, and maintain applications, while maintaining professional relationships with clients to understand their challenges and implement updates according to those needs. *Responsibilities:* * Serve as a Technical Lead across major project initiatives supporting more than one application, platform, or system in domains such as Education Administration, Admissions, Electronic Health Management, Scholarship and Financial Aid, Learning Management, College and Career Readiness, Enterprise Risk, Safety and Security, Advancement and Alumni Relations, Marketing, Legal, and Internal Audit. * Support the ET Applications product and resource manager to identify, lead, and execute strategies for operational efficiencies for ET managed systems and processes. * Provide mentoring and training to junior engineers and analysts, focusing on standardizing and enhancing the discipline, practices, and processes for technical solutions engineering across Enterprise Technology. * Utilize extensive technical knowledge to design enterprise applications services offerings to business customers. * Research and create new technical solutions for business partners. * Present and align enterprise application solutions to business partners. * Build and maintain relationships with business customers in direct support of the application or solution. * Partner with business customers to maintain and manage vendor relationships. * Apply next-generation capabilities such as AI, MI, and RPA as appropriate to add business value to the enterprise. * Research solutions and proof of concept of next-generation technology, attend professional development conferences and workshops to improve business efficiencies for the enterprise. * Follow IT process/procedure controls to ensure separation of duties, proper sign-off, and documentation of critical business processes. * Adhere to security and application management policies and support resolution of system security issues and errors. * Maintain requested security configuration changes, ensuring compliance with internal IT control processes, and work with the Information Security Office during audits. * Work with cross-functional and technical teams to design, build, maintain, and test Enterprise Applications and systems. * Provide technical support including application configuration/maintenance, code development, or system configuration as needed for other Enterprise Applications and systems. * Plan and conduct reviews with business, technology, and external partners, incorporating feedback and ensuring thorough documentation of technical designs, requirements, and unit testing. * Conduct research and diagnosis on problems (including program debugging). Resolve application support issues. * Perform software installation, maintenance, and configuration (including software, OS, database engines, middleware, etc.). * Work with cross-functional and technical teams to design, build, maintain, and test integrations. * Assist with troubleshooting integration errors and issues. * Partner with the Enterprise Integrations team in defining integration requirements and testing support for new integrations or existing integration changes and updates. * Recommend integration changes that would result in more cost-effective/efficient operations. * Assist other ET team members to deliver on both operational or project-related change requests and incident resolutions. * Partner with functional teams to understand day-to-day processes and monitor operational process gaps for continuous improvement and risk mitigation. * Ensure documentation is up-to-date and reflective of all changes implemented. * Provide technical support of an application (up to level 3 support). Gather information on reported problems. Conduct research and diagnosis on problems. Resolve application support issues. *Minimum Qualifications:* * Minimum 7 years of general IT experience. * Experience in working in the Healthcare Industry or with Salesforce. * Working knowledge of integration technologies, capabilities, and developing/testing efforts. * Ability to learn new technology and concepts quickly with excellent analytical/technical aptitude. * Ability to multi-task easily and juggle priorities in an evolving environment. * Experience contributing to projects and managing assigned tasks. * Objective-oriented with dedication and commitment to job duties. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Highly motivated individual with good customer relationship and support skills. * Knowledge of enterprise technology systems and concepts which support business goals and strategic initiatives. * Experience with SQL Server Database Development concepts - T-SQL, MS SQL Profiler, SSIS packages, etc. is a plus! *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
