Vice President Long-Term Care & Behavioral Health
What you will be doing: The VP of Long-Term Care and Behavioral Health (LTC + BH) sales is responsible for setting the strategy for the Continuum of Care's largest vertical (LTC + BH) and driving both new business growth (new logo & same store sales) and retention efforts. The VP will lead a multi-disciplinary team where they will lead front-line sales and account management staff through the Sr. Director of Field Sales, while also being responsible for direct reports that manage key supplier and distribution relationship for the CoC. The VP of LTC + BH will set and implement their strategy across the vertical, leveraging account plans, growth pipeline, and their at-risk pipeline in collaboration with US Foods to further the effectiveness of their leaders and sales team. The VP of Sales will also manage key member and supplier executive relationships and engage in sales/retention efforts based on the needs on the business. Additionally, the VP will be responsible for all financial and forecast reporting for their vertical including all executive team content, monthly/annual budget inputs, and weekly pipeline reviews. Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership- 50%
Execution of LTC + BH vertical's stated growth objectives. Includes, but is not limited to establishing and maintaining accountability for chronological/member booking targets that enable achievement of immediate/future revenue objectives, determining distribution of sales team resources, and direct support of critical business pursuits. Ownership of top customer executive relationships, their engagement with Premier solutions, and ultimately their GPO renewals. Coach and develop leadership team and direct field sales organization to best support, retain, and grow the LTC + BH spend with Premier contracts.
Sales Strategy - 40%
Develop effective programs to compensate, assess, and hold sales team members accountable respective growth targets. This includes the development of leading indicators that measure the performance of the team and the eventual success of the business as an output. Collaborate with Strategy and Sourcing resource to identify key market opportunities and write aggregated/local contracts that maximize LTC + BH adoption and administrative fee growth. Identify and leverage Premier Solutions (SmartPO, performance services, etc.) that offer opportunities to differentiate to Premier GPO. The VP will be responsible for engaging with internal leadership to co-create the vertical specific applications of these solutions and align their sales strategy to ensure adoption within the CoC GPO. Engage with key distribution and supplier partners to align commercial strategies and ensure that the Innovatix team is the primary partner leveraged in any new business opportunity. The VP will demonstrate the rationale for this preference engagement with historical performance data and then hold supplier/distribution partners accountable to supporting mutually agreed upon growth targets.
Forecasting & Pipeline Management - 10%
Maintain and monitor sales analytics in Dynamics CRM, in partnership with CoC Sales Operations and Finance Collaborate with various business units to gather information for deal desk and RFP submission requirements. Forecast and review weekly opportunity and at-risk pipeline. Partner with VP of Sales & Account Management to develop the annual forecast and expected business performance for their vertical.

Premier's compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier's internal salary range for this role is $155,000 - $289,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
