Responsibilities

Are you interested in orbits and physics-based modeling and simulation? What if you could apply your orbit knowledge and problem-solving skills to help analyze the GEOINT future architecture. That's why our GEOINT modeling and analysis team is looking for you.

In this position you will:

  • Conduct extensive modeling and simulation of space and ground systems to support GEOINT architecture studies.
  • Perform orbit analysis including generating coverage and field of view results/visualizations
  • Coordinate and integrate analysis results with internal team members and external partners, including customers and contractors.
  • Translate complex technical data into customer-facing materials, including presentations and briefing documents.
  • Develop innovative metrics and visualization methods to highlight performance outcomes.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of existing GEOINT analysis tools.

Qualifications

What we need from you (required):

  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 8-10 years' experience: MS 6-8 Years or PhD 3-5 years
  • Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with a Poly
  • Orbit analysis expertise including coverage and field of view
  • Demonstrated experience leading a small analytical team
  • Experience creating technical presentations and briefing to senior customers
  • Proven problem-solving capability
  • Strong analysis skills, ability to review, interpret and understand analysis results
  • Experience in modeling, simulation, and analysis
  • Self-starter, capable of multi-tasking
  • Commitment to recognize, understand, respect, and operate effectively within various SETA, FFRDC, and Government lines of authority

Desired:

  • Familiarity with MATLAB, SQL, R, C++
  • Knowledge of GEOINT
  • Ability to manipulate data and results in Microsoft Excel
