As part of our Talent Alignment Group (TAG), the Resource Manager (RM) works closely with Managers and Partners to ensure engagements are staffed appropriately and enable our practices to leverage the right talent, on the right clients, at the right time. Our team strives for the efficient and effective deployment of our firm's talent with a strong focus on ensuring people are provided with opportunities to grow professionally while balancing the needs of the business and the firm's clients.
How you will contribute:
- Be a trusted member of the TAG team, manage and execute effective resource management processes for an assigned population. This includes:
- Scheduling of talent to appropriate client assignments based on timing, travel, levels, skills, and other necessary requirements
- Tools to forecast hours, track/manage utilization, and monitor overall headcount, chargeable hours, and overtime to ensure work is distributed
- Managing open needs by identifying solutions as well as anticipating potential conflicts and proactively managing them by generating ideas and surfacing alternative solutions
- Collaborating with engagement teams to maintain an updated scheduling system with realistic information to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting
- Maintaining a solid understanding of the skills, experiences, and career goals of professional staff to ensure optimal client assignments alignments; ensuring skills and interest profiles are updated regularly as required
- Maintaining a strong pulse on current and future needs and capacity
- As part of our long-term and merger integration efforts, TAG team members will work together to Innovate, Educate and Promote consistent resource management practices. This includes:
- Helping design, support, and guide a consistent resource management approach
- Supporting the merger of processes, tools, and metrics as we integrate teams
- Continuously shaping the future of our workforce planning to remain current and relevant as the business changes

- Ability to work more than 40 hours a week, as needed
- Ability to travel as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- 5 years or more of relevant work experience within professional services preferred (resource management or external client-facing)
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, exceptional Excel skills

Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085)
Pursuant to Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range displayed is for the Colorado market. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. Forvis Mazars reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs.
